2019 Big D Developmental Open

The Big D Developmental Open is back in April 2019 and will be hosted by Big D Barbell and Spoon Barbell April 6 2019.  This event is dedicated to youth and junior lifters.   The Big D Developmental Open will help developmental athletes not only gain valuable platform experience, but provides an opportunity to network and create relationships with other developmental lifters.  Cost for the event is $25.  Use promo code “first” if this will be your first competition and you will not be charged!  On top of that, we will cover your USAW membership for 1 year.  Please enter “First” as your USAW# if you do not have one yet.

The Big D Developmental Open will use top of the line equipment and all technical officials will be fair and will offer an explanation of any decision if politely asked.  We will have experienced coaches and volunteers on hand to answer any other ‘non-event’ questions.

There will be a sanctioned event that will allow you to qualify for the for the following events:

1. 2019 National Youth Championships (Anaheim California this June)
2. 2020 Junior National Championships
3. And All Other National Events

Not a USAW member?  That’s ok.  Feel free to try the event out in a non-sanctioned session.  Just add non-sanctioned in for the USAW # when prompted.

If this will be your first meet or you are an experienced lifter, come lift with your peers this April!
